This site was developed for "kingdom business" only. Our goal is to bring you the latest information happening within the IMAGE Ministry, but also give you an opportunity to get to know members of this group.

IMAGE was established to minister to the unmarried adult population of the Elizabeth Baptist Church. As you journey through your season of singleness, know that you are not alone. There are various small groups, monthly meetings, outreach initiatives, fellowships and events to keep you balanced throughout the process.

Tim's Ray of Hope
This is a reminder about the Tim's Ray of Hope feed the homeless outreach which takes place on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Our group prepares meals, sorts clothing and then distributes to the community. We will now prepare the bag lunches at EBC in order to streamline the entire process. If you would like to assist with meal prep, it will begin at 9:00AM at EBC. If you are solely interested in going out to distribute the meals, please meet in the lobby of EBC at 10:00AM. We will then communicate instructions for the day and load the vehicles. Please be patient as we continue to refine this process.

Summerset Assisted Living
This is a reminder about the Summerset Assisted Living outreach which takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Please meet us in the lobby of EBC by 2:00PM. We will then travel to the facility which is about 5 minutes away from EBC. Our group plays bingo with the residents, as well as serve as listening ears to a group who may not have family nearby. This is a great way to give back to our seniors for all they have done for our generation!

Prayer Team
Greetings Fellow Disciples! Are you ready for a new opportunity to step up your spiritual walk and take steps to being more like Jesus? Even at the time of crucifixion, Jesus prayed on behalf of his transgressors! Prayer takes commitment, unmatched faith and a passion to see God's Will come to fruition!

As our ministry expands and do major things in Christ's name in our domestic and global community, the IMAGE Ministry is calling all prayer warriors for a new prayer team! Let's stand as one body in pray and see God change things!

God is Good!
"Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord as long as I live." Psalm 23:6

We run into trouble when we try to look through our circumstances to understand what God is like. If we have a bad day, for example, we might conclude that God doesn't love us. If it's a really bad day, we may even decide God is picking on us. When things are going well, though, we might assume God has just decided to be good to us for a day.

But if circumstances determined God's character, David would have wanted to run as far away from the house of the Lord as he could, not dwell in it! He lived through some terrible hardships! Yet he discovered that the right perspective gave him a completely different view of his life. He was free to experience God deeply in both good times and in bad.

People say we can only count on two things in life: death and taxes. Maybe so, but we Christians can add two more absolutes to our lives, and it's important for us to establish these truths firmly in our hearts once and for all:
* God loves us
* And God is good to us.

Don't focus on your problems and miss God's goodness. Take note of the many ways he's expressing his love to you in spite of your problems or even through them. When you look at life from the right perspective, you'll see God as he really is.
